How can I clear diagnostic trouble codes?

When a diagnostic trouble code (DTC; otherwise known as engine warning light) comes on in a connected vehicle, the app will send the customer a notification of the warning along with any additional information available about the issue.

Beyond providing the customer with extra information and advice, the app cannot resolve these codes. To clear a DTC, direct the customer to visit a certified mechanic check the issue and resolve the situation as required.
